Rob Vatter, Senior Director for Development

Professional Highlights

Rob is a Northwest native and has been actively involved in ministry throughout the Puget Sound region for more than 28 years. He is an ordained Assemblies of God minister and has a Bachelor of Ministry, and Masters in Theology from International Seminary. Rob has served in various ministry roles over the years, including senior pastor, church planter and evangelist, as well as various roles involving faith–based organizations and as the Director for Church Relations of Northwest University.

Rob has also served two members of the United States Congress in advisory roles and spoken to audiences both nationally and internationally, including those in El Salvador, Jamaica, Alaska and New York.

In 1993, Rob became involved with CRISTA Ministries to help establish the first evangelical group home in the Pacific Northwest for people living with AIDS and served as the volunteer chaplain of the CRISTA AIDS Outreach until 1999. He has been a passionate voice to the faith community concerning the responsibility of churches to respond with love and compassion to HIV/AIDS related issues.

Rob has also been a featured speaker on college and university campuses and made guest appearances on radio and television concerning HIV/AIDS related issues.

Personal Highlights

Rob and his wife Teresa have been married 34 years, have two daughters and are now enjoying the thrill of being grandparents.
