The number of coaches in professional sports studying, strategizing and developing a game plan is amazing. From watching previous played games to enacting a game plan on the field or court, it’s the coaches who are thinking through the agenda and performance of a team at game time. But even more weighty are the challenges of marriage and family relationships. These are hard for all of us! Emotions jump up and surprise us, causing all of us to react. But you can take a proactive step and make a connection with some trusted or wise friend or family member - someone who’s been there. Ask them for help and advice. There’s someone right now who lives close to you, talk to them. And if you’re afraid of what they’ll think, listen... they will be honored that you asked. Nothing honors another person like viewing them as one that can help you. Remember families matter!
