Transcript
Have you ever counted the number of coaches on the sideline of an NFL game? Now add four or five more coaches in the booth above the field. It’s pretty complex and demanding these days... like family. So why is it that as a couple or family we try to do it on our own? Mentors can encourage and help coach us through the difficult times. Back east a marriage mass was held where 200 couples who were married for 25 years or more got together. Their goal was to celebrate marriage, encouraging young families. What a great resource older couples are! Think of the experience and wisdom they have. Hey! Relationships are hard for all of us. I want to plant a seed and encourage you to take a proactive step. Make the connection with another couple and ask them to help you along the path to becoming a better spouse and a better parent.
