Transcript
The greatest measurement of marriage is the emotional bond of intimacy. And many couples that have the deepest intimacy are actually couples that have persevered through the biggest trials. Nine years ago infidelity nearly toppled the marriage of Walter and Cheryl Larrick. Today Cheryl is actually thankful for the affair - a catalyst to a healed and better marriage. The two were married for about five years when Walter was unfaithful. Divorce crossed their minds but neither spoke to an attorney. They tried counseling but, “it was a conference called ‘A Weekend to Remember’ that saved and transformed their marriage.” The Larricks agree that the affair was “a symptom of individual problems.” But through the seminar and support of others the couple has learned how to communicate, handle conflict, and make their home an exciting, loving place. Their advice - “make time for each other each and every day.”
