You know, little boys and grown men are a lot alike. And there’s a similar sense in which little girls and grown women are a lot alike. Little boys and grown men want to know, deep down, "Do I have what it takes... do I measure up?" Little girls and grown women want to know, "Am I adored? Am I valuable and special?" You know what these boil down to? For men, respect. For women it boils down to love. Which is why if we want to have great marriages and build up our kids, the best thing we can do is give little boys and big boys respect. And little girls and ladies, love. It’s a simple formula to remember that can help your relationship go the distance and be the best it can be. Moms, ladies, what speaks respect to the little or big boys in your life? Guys, how can you cherish and adore your daughter or wife today?
