Transcript The state of Oklahoma was ranked second in the country for its rate of divorces, and because of it Governor Frank Keating declared "a state of marital emergency." Did you know that the state of Washington is ranked 14th? In Oklahoma, leaders realized that divorce is having a tremendous negative impact on children and communities. It’s affecting public life from daycares and schools, to counseling centers and even prisons. This is why it is so important for all of us to support and improve our marriages.
