Transcript
Although his success as an actor and director is well known, his more important role as a husband and father of seven kids inspire our modern world more than his movie "Braveheart." Mel Gibson’s been married to his wife Robyn for 22 years. In a recent interview he was asked with all the pressures of being a star in Hollywood, what’s made his marriage last? “It must be love! There’ve been ups and downs but it’s just too easy to throw in the towel. If you can hang in through the grim times, there’s only one way to go - up. Bad times make you better,” Gibson says. Than he passed on a lesson that has been modeled by his mom, his dad and his wife: commitment and selflessness are keys to having love and success that really lasts.
