"My oh my" the Mariners had a memorable season in 2001, setting a record for the most wins ever by a baseball team. And one of their stars did more than play great baseball, he’s been making a habit of keeping his family a top priority, both in season and out. Dan and Annie Wilson have been married for ten years and have three young kids. As a catcher for the Mariners, Dan often returns home late during baseball season. But every morning Dan drives his kids to school, which at times means only getting a few hours of sleep. He does this because spending time with his kids is important to Dan. Evenings are just as important to the Wilsons as they enjoy reading to their kids and making it a point to let their answering machine take phone calls. The Wilsons know the importance of family time and they schedule it as a weekly priority appointment. What a great reminder for all of us to think of what we want to do together, to get it scheduled and make it the memories that we and our kids will always take with us.
